Contactless Security Screening Measures- "the future of security screening"

There has been a significant amount of focus on re-opening amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. Schools and Universities, Fall sports, theme parks, professional sports and other venues wrestle with the decision to open or not open. It is a commonly assumed fact these days that in order to ensure the health and safety of the people responsible for the COVID-19 related procedures put in place, organizational risk mitigation measures are paramount at this time. For the venue and public gathering world, security screening is one of the primary touch points that re-emerging fans and patrons will encounter. There are well documented best practices and health and safety guidelines issued from various health agencies and experts. Very few security officer procedures have been introduced for the line level security officer that is tasked with this responsibility in schools, stadiums, and other places that require some level of security screening. Organizations around the world should be reminded that these individuals are on the front lines of exposure to the returning crowds. Providing a COVID-19 security screening training to these individuals could provide an invaluable skill-set that prepares security officers with the knowledge and training that demonstrates to the general public and staff that an organization is truly “ ready to re-open.” Providing Contactless Security Screening Measures training for all security officers will solidify organizational readiness and possibly reduce liability and lower risk exposure. This type of organizational approach creates a solid public relations and marketing opportunity to display the organization’s commitment to the health and safety of its staff and patrons. CSSM is the industry’s preeminent training solution for security screening officers worldwide. This training is designated for safety and security screening officers as a part of the recovery roadmap for COVID-19 enhanced health and safety protocols. CSSM defines contactless security screening best practices with the objective of assembling the most relevant skill sets needed for a robust contactless COVID-19 risk mitigation strategy integrated with a cultural sensitivity security component attuned to the effects that the current COVID-19 climate has had on the world.
